Trusted Drainage Experts
Blocked, overflowing or backing up again? Get practical help with the blockage and clear advice about what needs to happen next.
Professional Toilet Unblocking
A toilet that will not drain can disrupt the whole household. If plunging only helps temporarily, or the downstairs toilet keeps backing up, tell us what has happened and what you have already tried.
We assess the symptoms, work to clear the obstruction and check the flow afterwards. If other fixtures or outside drains are affected, our drain unblocking service covers the wider system.
Water rising? Stop flushing. Tell us if there is an overflow or this is your only usable toilet. Call to check current availability.
How We Help
One visit starts with understanding the problem—not assuming every blocked toilet needs a camera survey or repair.
01 — Tell Us The Problem
Give us your postcode, the symptoms and whether another toilet is usable. Mention any recent plumbing work and ask about availability and charges.
02 — Assess And Clear
We assess the likely blockage location and use suitable equipment. The work depends on the obstruction, access and what is found.
03 — Check And Explain
After clearance, we check the flow and explain the findings. If symptoms suggest a wider issue, we discuss the appropriate next step.
When The Problem Comes Back
Paper, wipes or accidentally flushed objects can block a toilet. But repeated trouble may involve a restriction or fault further along the pipework. Symptoms alone do not confirm the cause.
Tell us how quickly the blockage returns, whether several fixtures are affected, and if the toilet has recently been replaced. A CCTV drain inspection may help investigate where appropriate. If damage is identified, we can discuss drain repair options.
If a public sewer may be involved, responsibility should be checked with the sewerage company rather than assuming every affected pipe is private.

Blocked Toilet FAQs
What to do now, what to tell us and what to check before booking.
Tell us your postcode, what is happening and what has already been tried. We can discuss the next step and current availability.

Stop flushing if the water is rising or wastewater is backing up. Keep people and pets away from contaminated water, and call 07980 830681 to explain what is happening.
Tell us whether it is your only usable toilet and whether any other fixtures are affected. Avoid adding more water to affected fittings while you arrange help.
Temporary improvement does not necessarily mean the underlying problem has gone. An obstruction may remain, or there may be a restriction further along the pipework. The symptoms alone cannot confirm the cause.
Tell us how soon the problem returns and whether anything has recently changed. We can discuss clearance and, where useful, a CCTV drain survey to investigate recurring trouble.
Problems at several fixtures can point to connected drainage rather than a blockage in one toilet. Mention slow sinks, outside drain overflows, neighbouring properties with similar trouble and any recent toilet replacement.
Our drain unblocking service covers wider drainage problems. If a public sewer may be involved, check with the sewerage company rather than assuming every affected pipe is private.
If a suitable plunger has not resolved the problem, the bowl is filling up, or an object may be lodged in the toilet, stop and seek advice. Avoid repeated flushing and adding chemical cleaners.
If you have already used a product, tell the engineer what it was before any work starts. Do not mix cleaning products or attempt to dismantle the toilet to reach a suspected blockage.
Call with your postcode and explain whether there is an overflow or no other usable toilet. Attendance depends on your location and current availability, so confirm the expected timing when you speak to us.
For an urgent problem, calling is the best way to discuss availability. Sending a form or WhatsApp message does not confirm a booking or an immediate response.
The cost depends on where the blockage is, access, the work needed and when the visit is required. Describe the symptoms, previous attempts and any other affected drains so the enquiry can be assessed.
Before booking, ask what the proposed charge covers, whether any call-out charge applies and how additional work would be agreed. A camera survey, repair or follow-up visit should not be assumed to be included.
If the problem appears to involve a public sewer, contact the sewerage company. A blocked toilet on its own does not tell you who is responsible, and shared or downstream drainage needs checking.
For properties served by Anglian Water, see its sewer pipe responsibility guidance. If you rent, also tell your landlord or managing agent so access and authorisation can be arranged.
